Hot Tracks—Locally Produced Song Makes Its National Debut "Beware Bitch!"
What do a South Beach professional dancer, Israeli DJ and New York based music producer have in common? A new CD that's premiereing during Spring 2006, that's that! We are talking about what Ebonee Excell, Oren Nizri and Pawel Bartoszek have in common! And the title of the CD is "Bitch Beware".
Ebonee has been on South Beach the longest - four years - while Pawel is the newest resident, having moved here just eight months ago. And Oren is in the middle with two years of South Beach experience under his belt. There just seem to be an incredible chemistry between these people that's rarely been experienced.
And they will soon be put to the test since that new CD is debuting at the South Seas Hotel where Oren will be spinning at the White Party HeatWave Pool Party on Saturday November 26. Ebonee will be doing the vocals during a full scale production she's developed for the launch of the CD. And Pawel will be watching enthusiastically since most of his work was behind the scenes getting this track technically ready for its national debut!
All three of these people are incredibly interesting on their own, but as a team, under the management of George Coronado, they're absolutely incredible! Take their background, for instance:
Ebonee, we know, has an awesome reputation in the world of Drag - she takes her role seriously and professionally. Born Jean Louis in PorAu-Prince, Haiti she moved to New York where she was part of the prestigious Alvin Alley American Dance Theatre. She even traveled with Mexican SuperStar Thalia. She moved to South Beach four years ago and works full time as a dancer, performer artist, gender illusionist, model, impersonator and dance instructor! "Ebonee Excell" was born in New York in 1999 and moved to Boston in 2000. She performed intensively in both cities. She moved to South Beach in 2001, where she also regularly performed at numerous prestigious locations. If you've witnessed any of her performances, you know how exciting and fabulous she is./p>
Oren was born and raised in Israel. He began his professional career in Tel Aviv in 1998 as a Resident DJ. He traveled throughout Europe and finally moved to South Beach in 2003.He can be found spinning just about every renowned venue in South Beach : mega-clubs, high-energy lounges and sophisticated hotel parties. He worked an event at last year's White Party and is doing the same this year, moving up to the exciting HeatWave Poll Party. Oren was previously featured in Wire's Music Conference issue earlier this year.
Then we have Pawel Bartoszek, born and raised in Poland where he learned how to master the accordion! He's been doing music ever since he can remember. He spent his earlier years in Poland then moved to New York and then to New Jersey in 1996. He studies music and recording engineering, completing a bachelor of arts degree. He also played in a band that wasn't as interested in music as he was. That's when he moved in a different direction to the production side of the music which he's been doing for about eight years now. Then in March of this year he moved to South Beach - and the rest, as they say, is history.
